Crews Respond To Laundromat Fire In Monona | Business

The city of Monona Fire Department responded on Saturday morning to a fire at Springhaven Laundry at 4519 Monona Drive.

The laundromat owner said that a customer overstuffed a a dryer causing one of his rags to catch fire. 

The fire was very small and was contained, the owner said. 

The store was closed for the rest of the morning and reopened in the afternoon after the area was fully cleaned, the owner said.
