Olympic hockey player, alumna to visit school | Parents & Kids
Monona Grove High School alumna Jessie Vetter will return to the school Friday to welcome her home from the Sochi Olympics.
Vetter competed with the U.S. women's hockey team at the 2014 Winter Olympic games as goalkeeper. The United States took the silver medal in women's hockey after losing 3-2 to Canada on Feb. 20.
Vetter will visit the district's schools Friday, ending at Monona Grove High School for an assembly scheduled to begin at 2:37 p.m., the school said.
